Our products are made once ordered, this process allows for only products that are needed and going to be used.

This allows for a large decrease in production costs and waste. Improving the use of recycled packaging, utilizing post-consumer recycled plastics.

More than half of our products use recycled packaging with outer packaging & inner bags. These changes have allowed for 25,163kg saved (55,475 lb). Donating damaged and returned products to local charities such as Red Cross, American Kidney Fund & Goodwill.

Donating returned items to local charities and offers damaged apparel to animal shelters that can use them for their needs.

GIVING BACK

We continuously give back, by supporting focusing and assisting informal educations, helping people with developmental skills and succeed in tech.

In Latvia, there is a hosted free annual programming summer school to mentor people interested in IT. This is done under the supervision and action of our partnered company, After the two-week course, we extend job offers to the best students.

There also is a long-term partnership with Junior Achievement Latvia—a non-governmental held organization with large expertise in business education in Latvian schools. Since the time of 2013, it'ss been welcoming high school students in our Latvia office once a year to show them various job opportunities and realities of everyday work.

We plan on creating new initiatives and activities in other locations.

EFFICIENT SHIPPING

81% of the orders are fulfilled in the same region or close to the region. Allowing us to have fulfilment centres around the world allows less need for fuels and energy for transport. Better for the planet and customer, Strategically placed centres are to help with more effective shipping times, reducing CO₂ emissions.

We have facilities on both US coasts—in Charlotte, North Carolina and Los Angeles, California. We also have fulfilment centres in Canada, Mexico, Latvia, Spain, and fulfilment partners in Australia, Japan, and Brazil. New locations are coming later this year in Texas, the UK, and Poland.

PARTNERSHIPS

In the last year 2020, we've partnered with waste management such as Geocycle & Martex. These managements take care of our fabric waste in Tijuana & Charlotte facilities.

We accumulated 206,737lbs (93,774) kg of fabric to be recycled at the end of 2020.

This year 2021 we've incorporated other recycling solutions in Los Angeles, Riga facilities. This has allowed us to recycle 290,361lb (131,665 kg). in just 6 months in 2021.

Our facilities in North America and Europe are based close to where our customers are. This means we can ship products faster and cut the shipping distances, resulting in less air and water pollution.

We recycle (paper, cardboard, plastic, and batteries), and use energy-efficient LED lights in our offices and fulfilment centres, and we’re always looking for new ways to save energy. For example, last year we moved our European production facility to a Class A building that’s built using the latest technologies to eliminate any energy waste.

ECO-FRIENDLY PRINTING

We are slowly succeeding to make the printing itself as eco-friendly as possible. We’ve invested $27 million in state-of-the-art printing equipment, and we will continue investing in the newest technologies from companies that care about sustainable fashion. We’re proud to partner with the specialists of DTG printing, Kornit. Thanks to their commitment to and efforts in sustainability, Kornit printers produce almost zero wastewater and use less energy, lowering our carbon footprint.

The biodegradable vegan NeoPigment inks that are utilized are made by Kornit, with their water-based, toxin-free and non-hazardous ink. Making it a intitative to dispose of any left-over ink accordingly, so we’re not harming the planet.

Frequently asked questions

Do You Use Recycled Plastics?

As of May 2021, we started using packaging made of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics. PCR plastics are made from items people recycle every day, like plastic bags and bottles. Most of our PCR plastics are made from shopping bags and wrapping films. We use PCR plastic packaging for all apparel orders shipped from our in-house facilities. The amount of PCR in the packaging differs for each location, but it’s at least 50% for the outside (white or grey) poly mailer bags, and at least 30% for the inside (clear) bags that are used in multi-item shipments. PCR packaging protects the products just as well as the virgin plastic bags, and they look almost the same. However, choosing PCR over virgin plastics minimizes the environmental impact plastic has on our planet. We know there’s still a lot to do to reduce our packaging footprint, and we’ll keep exploring greener options in the future.

How Do You Plan To Reduce The Use Of Packaging

We’ve started using post-consumer recycled plastics to package apparel orders shipped from our in-house facilities we’ve eliminated the second layer of plastic packaging for all single-item shipments in all locations to eliminate the need for plastic caps in poster packaging, we’ve switched from cardboard tubes to triangular boxes adding recycling instructions to the poly mailer bags we’re currently using looking for more sustainable ways to replace plastic packaging

Quality & Sustainable

The better the quality, the longer the product lasts. Before we add new products, we do durability, wash, and wear tests to make sure they’ll stand the test of time. Producing long-lasting products means reducing new purchases. We have a core value of sustainable & fashionable clothing, both making a statement in the designs & a statement to the world. - Made To Order - Limiting Waste - Efficent Shipping - Reliable Quality - Eco-friendly Prodcuts - Efficent Printing/Embrodiery & Hand-crafting

Carbon Footprint

Our carbon footprint calculations are still in the works, and we’re committed to communicating about our progress and changes. At the end of 2020, we started calculating our carbon footprint and the total amount of waste our business generates. Our calculations will be based on the entire product journey: from the second the product arrives , to the moment it reaches the end custom
